CAN I CANCEL AN ORDER?
If you are a consumer you have a legal right to cancel a contract under the Consumer Contracts from the moment you place your order until 14 days after you receive the goods. This means that during this period, if you change your mind or decide for any other reason that you do not want to purchase the goods, you can notify us of your decision to cancel the contract and receive a refund. If the goods have been dispatched there would be a fee to return the item. We do offer free delivery, however we do pay for a delivery of all goods and once dispatched we are charged for this , this fee will be deducted from your refund.
Please note we cannot return goods from BT postcodes, this would have to be arranged by the customer.
The right to cancel does not apply to the following types of goods, which are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements.
To cancel the contract, you must let us know you have decided to cancel as soon as possible. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your order reference.
CAN I RETURN AN ITEM?
You can return an item until 14 days after you have received the goods. To initiate a return, email email@example.com. In your return request, please include the reason for the return, your order reference, the best phone number to call you on, and photos of any damage, if any on the item. To return orders the cost of shipping will be deducted from the refund.
To protect yourself from disappointment or something unexpected, we strongly encourage you to closely inspect item photos, descriptions, and details, in particular, measurements before purchasing and then again upon delivery or pick up. If you’re unsure about an item's dimensions, or description, send your questions to firstname.lastname@example.org.
If in the rare event of an item arriving damaged or faulty we require notification within 2 days and photos to illustrate the fault. This return will then processed accordingly, and either a replacement or full refund will be offered.
Returns are not accepted on the following types of goods: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements.
In case of a return, the buyer is liable for return shipping costs, unless My Vintage Home finds that the item was damaged in transportation (We do ask for customers to check the items before the delivery driver leaves, to be able to return your delivery in the rare event of damage), or determines the listing was inaccurate, misleading, or misrepresented the item. In this case we ask for photos to be sent straight away.
The item must be returned in the same condition as it was delivered and packaged in the original packaging. Customers are welcome to organise the return delivery themselves or we can arrange the return of the item through our delivery companies and we will advise the cost of this and deduct this from the refund amount sent.
The refund will be issued as soon as the goods are received back to us.
